Liability Policies
At First Solution, we take pride in delivering reliable, high-quality service you can trust. To make sure everything goes smoothly, here are a few important policies to keep in mind:
• Trust & Responsibility: We promise to perform all agreed-upon services with care and professionalism. In return, we kindly ask that clients waive any claims against First Solution or our team—unless an issue arises due to gross negligence on our part.
• Accidents Happen: While we always handle your belongings with care, accidents can sometimes happen. If something is broken or goes missing, please let us know within 24 hours so we can make it right.
Please note: Antique, rare, or irreplaceable items aren’t covered by our policy—so we recommend removing them on cleaning days.
• Safety First: For everyone’s safety, our team does not use ladders or move items weighing over 40 pounds. If you’d like us to clean behind heavy furniture or appliances, please move those items ahead of time.
• No Bleach Policy: We don’t use bleach in our cleaning services. If you request it, please understand that First Solution cannot be held responsible for any resulting damage.
• Surface Conditions: We assume all surfaces in your home or business are sealed and safe to clean. If you know of any unsealed areas (like natural stone or specialty flooring), please let us know beforehand so we can treat them with the appropriate care.
📋 Business Policies
At First Solution, we want every client to feel confident in how we operate and care for your space. Below are a few key policies that help us keep everything running smoothly and safely:
🐾 Biohazard & Pet Policies
To ensure the safety and well-being of our team, we do not clean:
• Pet cages or litter boxes
• Animal waste
• Human feces or urine (outside of standard restroom cleaning)
• Vomit, soiled clothing, or any other biohazardous materials
🔐 Employee Training & Security
Because many of our services take place after hours, we take safety seriously:
• All new team members undergo criminal background checks
• Every employee receives training on proper procedures for securing a building (locking doors, turning off lights, setting alarms, etc.)
• A detailed checklist is used to ensure each facility is left exactly as it should be
• Staff are responsible for any keys issued to them and are required to sign a key-tracking form
🚨 Alarm Policy
We kindly ask that alarms be turned off on your scheduled cleaning day. If an alarm must remain active and is triggered during our visit, First Solution cannot be held responsible for any associated fees.
🔑 Key & Client Information Security
We treat your trust—and your property—very seriously:
• All keys and confidential client information are securely stored
• In the rare case of misplaced keys, we will cover locksmith fees only if the loss is our fault
💲 Rates & Extra Services
Cleaning rates may be adjusted over time to reflect changes in service needs or property conditions.
If you’d like to request additional services, please let us know in advance so we can schedule the time, staff, and supplies needed.
✅ Service Checklist
After each visit, we’ll leave behind a checklist showing what was completed in every room. This helps keep expectations clear and communication simple.
🙅♂️ Outside Hiring Policy
If you’re interested in hiring a current or former First Solution team member directly, a referral fee of $2,500 applies.
All of our staff and independent contractors are under a one-year non-compete agreement, which helps us protect the integrity of our business and employees.

Cancellation
Policy
Cancellation must be received 2 days prior to scheduled service or full cleaning fees will be applied. This includes instances where we cannot access your facility, or an employee feels their safety is at risk due to aggressive pet or actions by any individuals on the premise.
First Solution reserves all rights to deny service because of safety concerns, financial concerns or inappropriate or uncomfortable situations.
Cancellation without notice of 60 days, a fee of 33.3% of the remainder of the contract will be applied. fee is non-negotiable.
⏰ Business Hours, Holidays & Weather
At First Solution, we always do our best to stick to your cleaning schedule—but sometimes things are out of our control.
• If the weather is severe or unsafe, we may need to reschedule your service. We’ll always let you know as early as possible.
• We do not provide service on major holidays. If your cleaning falls on one, we’ll contact you ahead of time to reschedule at your convenience.
💳 Payments & Billing
🛑 Returned Checks
If a check is returned, a $50 fee will apply. This can be paid by cash or money order, and we kindly ask that it be taken care of promptly.
🤝 Payment Terms
• Unless you’ve arranged for a 30-day billing plan, payment is due before your scheduled cleaning.
• If payment isn’t received on time, a $40 late fee will be added.
• Payments over 30 days past due will incur a 12.5% monthly finance charge.
• We may need to pause services until the account is brought up to date—but we’ll always try to work with you first.

Your satisfaction means everything to us. If there’s ever a concern with the cleaning, just let us know within 24 hours—we’ll come back and re-clean the area free of charge.

SECURE SERVICE
Do you know who’s in your building at night? Rest assured, we do! We’re fully insured, licensed, and bonded, and all staff go through a “1000-point” screening, including a BSCAI background check, drug testing, social security verification, training, and supervision.
GREEN CLEANING
We are a Green Seal-42 certified company. Whether it’s using microfiber technology, low-moisture systems, or low-decibel vacuums, we work to minimize waste, lower our carbon footprint, and look out for the health of our clients’ staff and our janitors.
CLIENT CONNECT
Client Connect is a convenient, proprietary client web portal. Once you sign into the secured site, you can view your contract, update work schedules, and review contact information, photos, and bios of your dedicated First solution team.
